This course is targeted to case managers, support professionals, or volunteers who work with Autism Spectrum Disorders in children.
It will identify five disorders within the spectrum, as well as discuss a few of the current interventions being used to address these conditions.
Course Objectives
After completing this course, learners will:Understand the five different disorders that are within Autism Spectrum Disorders.Identify shared ASD characteristics.Understand the range of impairment within ASD.Understand that Autism Spectrum Disorders are developmental disorders and not diseases.
